Pet Loss Stories

Sadly we had to send our Buddy to doggie heaven back in July. He was a rescue boy and brought us such joy for just over 3 1/2 yrs. He had Lyme disease (even though I put the Frontline on him every month). His kidneys and liver were affected and we did everything in our power to keep him going… kidney function food, meds, even IV’s daily. Nothing helped and his health progressively got worse. We miss him terribly. There has not been one day since that I don’t think about him or cry for him… his loss is overwhelming. Every once in a while I find a piece of kibble on the floor in a corner somewhere in the kitchen… even though we sweep and vacuum regularly… I know he is sending me a message. -Loretta (Facebook Friend of Bill)

I lost my best friend on July 14, 2004. I was devastated and miss her still today. She was my baby and loved me just as much as I loved her.

She was also the last Birthday present my husband Paul gave me before he passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack.

I will definitively read Bill at Rainbow Bridge & review it for you. Thank you so much. When I mention my dog and how her death bothered me to family and friends, their eyes glaze over and I get the look of “oh no, here we go again”. But I really miss her, her death tore me apart and still does. I wish they would understand that. -Nancy (Facebook Friend of Bill At Rainbow Bridge)
